[V8] UFO brakes

Hi,

UFO brakes are still available everywhere over Europe, price is 300.- EU
each rotor (!). If you really get one new for 150 bucks, let me know...

An alternative is a conversion to HP2, even though this requires (if you
wanna do it the save way) S6 or S4 struts and some work on the hubs. In
Germany approx. 1000.- EU is the overall price including new rotors and
pads when converting to HP2. The advantage of the HP2 is - besides the
better look - not that much. Strafing shall be better when having some
hard brakes from 250km/h down one after another - well, nothing you
should have to care about in the US (and something we also don't have to
care about in the meantime).

I personally just was about to convert my 200 20V sedan to HP2 but
decided to keep the UFOs another time 'cause they really last a long
time, I get no problem with the car inspections and it remains original.
Rumours say that Audi hast just ordered a last set of UFOs from the
original manufacturer (which name I forgot, but you don't get UFOs from
them anyways) - people talk about 300 pieces. But I personally (and many
others) don't believe that. As long as the UFOs sell good, what should
be a reason to stop producing them. For that price... gold is less valuable.

Regards

Bastian
