I'd agree with this after putting euros in my UrQ(s)/5KTQ(s)/200(s)/V8/S6.
Quite literally while I was doing work on the 200 I had only 1 headlight
(a euro) installed and it was at least twice as good as 2 DOTs! E codes
are my first upgrade for any 80's Euro car, as I tend to drive them a lot
and not a better bang for the driving buck if you drive a bunch predawn
and post sunset or as many of us do, live at the end of the road.
On the UrQ/CGT/4KQ you need to jumper the connection to get H4 hi beam on
in conjunction with the dedicated hi (h1) bulb. The 200 euro and I
believe the V8 take care of this on their own. While the V has the best
DOT housing of all the models, theEuro one piece wrap around glass and
housing are much more substantial and throw measurably better beams
especially with upgraded bulbs. Smoke'em if you got em folks, no sense
leaving them on the shelf!

I've heard from others that the Euros for the 200 20V offer greater
(greatest?) improvement over stock compared to the UrS cars, ur-quattros,
etc.
