[V8] non-ABS conversion?

I've been reading all of this and really can't see why anyone would want to
bother with removal of this system. I was thinking there can't be much
weight savings which was confirmed by another lister and with all the
components and the fabrication that would likely be necessary to replace
parts removed, it just seems like a waste of time overall, regardless of
whatever perceived/realized outcome is achieved.
I'd say your time and money would be better spent in other areas. In nearly
15 years of ABS-equipped Audi ownership of eight different vehicles, I think
I've spent an hour doing and actual ABS related trouble shooting and repair.

I would like to inform you that the Corrado system is a Bad design. The
system does not have enough reserve capacity to stop you in long braking
cycles. (No Pump design)
I was in a rear end collision in my Corrado due to a poor design.
Trust me this will NEVER happen in your V8.
Scott.

Ah, I didn't realize it had anything to do with the center diff. I'm basing
most of my opinion from my Corrado ABS, which seemed to have numerous points
of failure. Either the comptuer, a sensor, a sensor wire, a sensor ring,
accumulator, etc., was usually failing and expensive to replace.
