[V8] non-ABS conversion?

I believe there is no difference in the location of the ABS parts between
automatic and manual V8s.

Like I said, it mostly comes from my experience with my Corrado ABS.  In
that car it had failed me once when I had relied on it, requiring me to
replace the bumper and core support.  Also, removing it and swapping the
parts from a non-ABS Corrado is pretty simple IF you can find the parts from
a non-ABS Corrado.

Most importantly, though, the idea was that removing it would also free up a
bunch of room.  For a 5spd swap this would mean less stuff in the way of
installing the entire clutch master/slave system.

In any case, after hearing the responses I'm convinced it's a much better
idea to leave it functioning in the Audi and I'm now even thinking I might
try to find a working switch so I can turn the ABS back on.
