Allan,

You are correct. But, if putting a different trans in the car (as in 
swapping the auto for a manual) then the FD of the donor trans needs to be 
considered. Otherwise, you could end up with a 3.89 front FD and a 4.11 
rear. I think that's what he was saying, anyhow.
