Guys,
Thanks everyone for all the help and guidance up to this point. I'm still having problems from this car, here is where I'm at - Still don't have spark, and wont start, still really don't know if I'm getting fuel, because I figure I need to find the spark problem first or there is no hope. Service manual says to check power output stage - I followed the tests to the letter, even testing the individual wires - basically, if you get to the bottom of the list and you still don't get signal to the power output stage, then it says your ECU is bad. Ok, fine, replaced ECU - still no dice. Then I say, well maybe the manual doesn't state all the things that could cause the signal to not be there. (I know, longshot, but bear with me) I checked the Cam sensor, OK; Crank sensor, OK, anything I'm missing? So, now what do I do? Did I just happen to get an ECU that has the same exact problem? What am I missing? Back to the original issue - how does running
the car dry of oil cause a no spark condition? Anybody got any ideas? Thanks.
