[V8] Still Have My Noodles

After seeing the report of disintegration in the heater core I pulled the
end tank off the unit I removed from my car - #2 - I found the flow
disruptors in the tubes were made of metal, I'd say it was brass, and all
appear to be intact.  I see the manufacturing tag on the end tank, it was
the unit installed in the car when it was built.  The spiral pieces are held
well in place by the crud that built up on the inside of the tubes; I wonder
if that is all they do when they "rod out" a radiator.  The spirals fit
tightly inside the tube and scrape it when removed.
