There's a big difference between what I'm mentioning and what just about any
Honda period is running.  For one, no honda before about 06 came with even
halogen projector housings, so they are all reflector type.  And typically
you get those guys running the $60-90 "plug-n-play" hid kits, which are
rebased bulbs (made in china) for various halogen bases, and then inserted
in halogen reflector housings.  This is incredibly terrible, as there is no
cut-off and the xenon bulbs will cover an incredibly wide path.  As well,
there are companies out there who make a dual-filament bulb that plugs in as
well, and use the term Bi-xenon incorrectly, as no car comes with that from
the factory.  Maybe he was running those.

Likely what you saw, and I don't think anyone with half a brain would
advocate them.
