Usually the limit is exceeded when list members attempt to post pictures or
entire digests . I believe this is the first time an initial post has been
made which was over 25K characters.
The message is not lost, it just sits in the queue until I have a chance to
disposition it. As I did in this instance I can allow the post to be sent
to the list . or I can send a rejection message to the poster . or I can
allow the message to go into the bit bucket.

That's curious... Is there no way for it to recognize repeat and "trusted"
posters?

I can set the threshold at which the messages are queued to a larger value
if that is what people want ... otherwise, if large posts don't seem to make
it out send a note to me rather than sending such requests to the group.
