[V8] All the Best Cars have been built. #2

I'm ok with the conversion cars, but I think that falls out of Rogers
plan since its not 'stock'. I nominate the stock 4 cyl model. It met
every need I had. Cheap, solid, reliable, easy to work on, good
mileage, usable speed (though hardly a rocket) with the manual,
zillions of parts cars out there... when I sold my '82 DL Wagon it was
at 200k, and it's still on the road 10+ years later with probably
300k+. Oh, and it had hit a tree dead center at about 35mph when I got
it. Rebuilt it with new/yard parts in my barn and shot some paint for
a total of under $300 and drove it for 5+ years.

I'll ditto the Miata by nominating my '91 British Racing Green Special
Edition - for exactly the same reasons: cheap, solid, reliable, easy to
work on, good mileage, usable speed (though hardly a rocket) with the
manual, zillions of parts cars out there :)

Although the DL wagon held a lot more crap than the Miata does :)

John

With a Ford V8 transplanted into it.

And for Roger, they're in Maine. :)
