Ok, Roger, I'll agree (partially) to your list so far in that I'm too tall
to be able to comfortably drive a stickshift VW Bug, but had such an
absolute blast driving a BMW 1600 in Bavaria in the summer of '80 that I
later bought a 2002 when I was in College. What an absolutely fun car to
toss around the curves -- more so the 1600 than my later US-spec (and
significantly heavier) '76 2002.
