Maybe. I guess it depends on how much they'll sell you the car for, if they'll even do that. They generally remove the battery and drain all the fluids when they take the car in.

A low-mileage 1992 V8 has wound up in a wrecking yard.  I believe that the mileage is under 120K original.  It is a local So. Cal. car.  The car is virtually complete.  Should I buy the car?  3 of the wheels are missing, but the complete stereo system is there and intact.  No body damage.  It came from a towing company, possibly sold at auction for storage.
