[V8] bad bomb, master cylinder or ?

I know it's a PITA to clean the teeth. You should see what we had to do on
an F350 recently. And, it's your car, you are free not to fix it. Hell, I
have a list on both of my dd's (1985 4000Q, 1986 4000Q) that would make your
ABS problem seem minor. I'm just trying to say that the chances are, once
you go through and clean and reseat everything, and get the ABS working
properly, it's probably the last time you will have to mess with the ABS.
But, as you know, a lot of stuff on the rest of the car will still require
your attention. Mine always has. Still better than a new car payment/full
coverage IMHO.

I didn't figure you had a leak in the brakes, from what you had stated in
the symptoms. I think Seamus might, though. Or, a bad master cyl, as
mentioned by others.
