Well I just got done doing the test from the tech manual and it looks like
the brake servo is bad. Apparently it's not supposed to drip out of the
line, much less pour like a faucet.
So I'll be replacing the servo first thing. Does it sound like I should
also replace the master cylinder while I'm there? Or should I do the servo
and see if it fixes it and if not, then replace the MC? They don't look
terribly difficult to replace.
As far as the sticking throttle cable, it seems there's a recall on a cruise
control bushing that might cause the trouble I'm having. I have the little
recall notice card (it came with the car), so I'll probably have that done
as soon as I get the brakes sorted out.
