[V8] UPDATE Engine Trouble (v6 - but still Audi)

Thanks for the info, I'm in souther West virginia. I did get a code it was 4444 - or no trouble codes set. I'm going to check the crank sensor, like many have mentioned - where is it? I know it is probably under the front pulley or on or near the bellhousing. Any general direction would be great. I know that oil went everywhere down there - it was even up on the the timing belt cover (outer) because of that spraying gasket - maybe a sensor got shorted because of the oil spray? Just a thought. Thanks.
