[V8] replacement hydraulic hoses

It looks like you are trying to reinvent a wheel that is already
perfectly round....
Spokane Hose (in Spokane Wa of course) has been through all of the
issues of rebuilding these hoses. Their prices are reasonable and turn
times are fast.
Your simplest repair is to send them the hose you need rebuilt and be
done with it. It has been a while, but I think the cost including
shipping is in the $50 range.
