[V8] Breather hose - fibre gasket

I'd have to say junkyard....Do you know if all your plumbing pipe  
threads up north are metric?.....I just installed a Grohe(German)  
shower set(made for america) and it was all standard  1/2" pipe  
thread and was just wondering.   The radiator nipple did actually  
feel like it got tighter as it went in, but didn't bother to notice  
while I had it out.....Maybe you could check a 6-8mm metric pipe  
thread to barbed fitting(if such a thing exists up north).  Anyone  
else had this problem?...Is it available/unique to the V8?.....Tom
