It's POSSIBLE to just remove the air intake plumbing and electric fan, the
serp belt and pump pulley, undo the bolts and wiggle the pump out and up.

It's much easier (and you don't have to struggle with the pulley while the
pump's half buried there) if you take off the driver side front cover to
the timing belt. Just two Alan head bolts.

Get a good pix of the belt routing and it'll go back on more reliably.

Hey gang, me again...

I'm trying to get the power steering pump off the car without tearing off
the front end of the car itself. Is this possible or am I dreaming?

I can't seem to get the thing to budge with my 'remove everything you see"
method. Strange how that works.

Does anyone have a quick bit of advice or a bit of a step by step on getting
the thing out of the car, including perhaps some pointers on the infamous
serpentine belt and its routing? (on that note, not a bad time to change
it...)
