[V8] Compression test numbers

My guess would be piston rings or valve guides/seals with emphasis on 
valve guides.  They can get enough play in them to have the valve 'wobble' vack and forth.  Unfortunately the only way to test them  is to remove the heads and check the play with a few simple tools.

Happened in my VW 16V 2.0 as well.  Gets worse over time. 

numbers within spec, yes.  but probably a bit lower than desired.  Mine pegs 148 or better on all 8

The numbers for 4.2 are 131-203. Wear limit the same 109. Your 
compressions have so little difference, that they seem good to me. The 
manual states that oil consumption on these engines is normal up to 
1l/1000km.
