[V8] seems i have way BIGGER problems than a PS Pump :(

You can check this really quickly by removing the valve covers. There are two dots, one on each cam, that line up with each other. When the crank in at TDC, they should be lined up on both sides.

BTW, I went through this on a friends 90 V8. Replaced the center differential and some stuff that got burned under there from a catalytic fire, and 2 miles later the TB went. I saw it on his car by the 1/4" gap between the intake valves and the cam lobes!!
