[V8] Blast from the past

H'Audi,

Long time, to chat.  Sorry I've been laying low the last few years; finished
my Bachelors, moved to a different house, and between the demanding job, 3
kids, and life, I've been a little busy lately (7,016 unread V8 emails!)

14 months ago, I picked up a 1993 w/ 83k miles - just hit 90k last week, and
it's time for a timing belt.  

My Ex (Cyclamen/Travertine 1990 w/ 180k) has been parked over at my friend's
pole barn the last 6 months.  I just picked it up last weekend, and am
getting ready to sell it to finance the new habit.  I thought I would give
you guys a heads up first, since many of you old-timers know the car pretty
well. 

About 6 months ago, I also picked up a parts car (also Cyclamen/Travertine),
which has helped to get the other 2 into shape.  I have plenty of parts
available if any of you listers in the NW are interested in anything; I am
located outside of Portland, and would prefer local pickup.

Email me offline if you want the skinny on the 1990 (needs a T-belt in 6k),
or are interested in any parts.

Sorry my website has been screwy for 6+ months; former Lister Torrence
Thomas, who hosts my website, has been going through some serious health
issues.  This has kept him from his work, including restoring the myv8q
website; it has been low on his (and my) priorities.  The domain name is
scheduled to expire this summer - if anyone in interested in taking it over,
let me know. 

I hope you all have been doing well - I miss the commiseration on the V8
list.  :-)
