I would check your Fuel Pressure Regulator first, and ASAP. Typical
failure mode is to take out some flywheel teeth.
Disconnect the vacuum line at the FPR and check it for gas. There should
be no fuel or fuel residue on the vacuum side. A fuel pressure leak down
test couldn't hurt either.
