[V8] You're a wild and crazy guy!

Well, as long as we're running a fantasy here for the moment, an auto
would be easiest, provided that either the ZF that came with the V8
engine would fit easily, or failing that, if the V8 could be made to
work with the existing auto transmission in the A6, that would be
preferable.

Does it theoretically cost more theoretical lobsters carried south in
the theoretical 20Valve Avant to make a theoretical 3.6 litre conversion
of a theoretical A6 2.8 into a theoretical 3.6 Avant?

And Ron, I think you are near enough for me to gather up steam and just
drive down to see the new beastie!

I have been seriously looking at '91 20-Valve Avants again. I really
would
like to have another one, of course.

And I was thinking even more about it, since you have a "new" V8 powered
beast. Here was my thought.

You're a wildly creative kind of Audi mechanical guru type, right?
Well, I
wonder if you have ever thought about doing a Type C4 Avant V8
conversion?

You know that I have fantasized about doing one, of course.

Now, if you were seized with the desire to make such a transplant, and I
could deliver the car and 3.6 litre motor for such conversion, I wonder
how
much Maine lobster it might cost. Hence the need for the twenty valve
'91
Avant.

Gotta have the 20-valve Avant to haul down those lobstah payments,
doncha
think?

Roger

P.S. Besides: lobster here is $4.20 a pound at the moment....
