The spring is much larger on the C4 recirc door Roger, but the function is the same... Hopefully the plastic rods it attaches to are not broken.. The CC is located on the right side of the glove box.

Subject: [V8] Getting all steamed up!
Well, my wife's '94 100CS Avant is fogging up its windows big time.
I guess this is the same "flappy valve" thingy I went through two years ago
with my V8? The flapper that opens and closes up behind the glove box which
directs air flow? I am assuming that the C4 and Type 44 cars have basically
the same air flow controls.
I fixed my V8 with a zip tie, but it was a PITA trying to lie on my back
looking up in back of the glove box. This time, I will take out the glove
box first, as I also need to try to replace the cruise control relay which I
believe has failed, and I suppose it lives up underneath there, too.
Am I right?
Roger
