[V8] Brake Lights come on when you're not looking

I investigated a little more last night, now that the car is 'home
from college'.

The switch is held in by a plastic/rubbery clip, but it can still be
pulled out without unscrewing it. However,
I noticed that even with the switch pushed fully in, it barely
contacts the pedal arm.
This suggests that the pedal distance to the firewall, is not adjusted
properly. When I went to turn the nut on the other side of the clevis
pin, I found I could turn it easily with my fingers. So I adjusted it,
so the pedal came back further and forced the switch to operate. As
long as the switch doesn't move in its socket I think I might have
fixed it.

Mark.
