[V8] My extra V8....

Actually, I have been watching this car for well over a year now.  It has
been on Autotrader and Cars.com.  From the pictures I would have to say that
this is arguably the cleanest V8 in existence at the moment.  It has just a
tad more miles than mine, and is cleaner chiefly because it has had no Maine
winters (yet), and has been detailed to within an inch of its life.

 

I have watched the price gradually come down, too.  Will it bring $4500?
Doubtful.  It should.  It is truly worth that much IF the service records
show that all maintenance issues are up to date, but I doubt that anyone
(except another fool on this list) will step up and plunk down this much for
this car.  Sad to say.

 

I have a few minor things to sort on my car, all of them electrical.  So for
me to be seriously interested in what I've got now, I would need to win a
couple of lotteries.  Even if I were in the market for a "spare", it
wouldn't be this one or a V8 for that matter at all.  Any V8 that comes into
my life will be a parts car and this one is waaay too nice to cannibalize, I
think.

 

But I never stop looking.
