[V8] last legs?

In AUTO, the system chooses when/if to use the a/c compressor. It won't use
it much in the winter obviously, but in some systems, the a/c system is used
to take moisture out of the interior.

Ed, I usually just set the temp and put it on "AUTO", but I can probably use
"ECON and not notice a difference.

Kent, the way the belt is currently routed won't help much. When the pump
seized it destroyed the belt. It wasn't routed around anything anymore when
I went out there today so at this point I think it's routed between a egg
shell and a banana peel. :P

However, I'm looking at a diagram of the belt routing right now and I'm not
sure how leaving out the AC will work. It looks like the belt runs all the
way across the bottom from the alternator to the AC compressor. If you take
out the AC compressor, it will have to run from the alt to the hydro pump,
but then the idler will be in the way.
