[V8] Factory towing package

I hear your concerns on the V8.  The thing Is I do enjoy travel, and the v8
isn't half bad.  I've done a few trips in the miata 2k or better, and only
had to pull once with it, but sometimes I just grab parts and tote them
around without really planing it.

However, the diesel conversion looks like a good idea.  Instead of getting
an 81-85 diesel, I'd go for the "facelift" after 91/2 or so, up to 95 and
get an extended bed 4x4 with a 4cyl and import a jap motor, swap them
over.   Most diesels are mechanical injection, so its an easy swap.  But I'd
probably go for the Jap 2.4l turbo, and modify the car/engine to be more
efficient.  A good undertray up front is a good start.  And if you go
mechanical, injection pumps can be done over.

This is a good idea, I'll have to keep it in mind.  Also, the Mazda B series
with an FE dohc or Fe based 2.2 (2.3?)L diesel would be another route, and
easier.
