Its all good, Roger! And I know the feeling of lost writings well. I
suggest writing using windows notepad or word and saving often -- maybe even
saving separate sections, depending on length.

Thanks for the comments. I really appreciate the input. I am climbing the
learning curve for website development very slowly, in part because I lack
the time right now to be fully engaged in the process.
I decided to use a template form and process furnished by the web host, and
have far more to learn about how to manipulate it. It is quite flexible,
but the tabs are an issue that I need to direct to customer service and will
do so in the short future. I have other issues to address with them, and
they are very, very fast and responsive: I just have to sit down and make a
phone call and they resolve all issues immediately. For now, I have to do
what I have to do, and need to make due with what I have managed to
manipulate so far.
This is very much a work in progress. I began a rather longer discussion of
health insurance this morning, but managed to lose it all with keyboard
failure...I did something stupid and lost all text: three hours down the
drain, and I was very angry. I almost pitched Mr. Dell's creation into the
bay, but my daughter suggested by IM that I just buy a new keyboard. I feel
an Apple coming on....sometime!
So, I am trying to update something on the web site about every week, and
updating pictures and other visuals more often than that. I have at least
one or two other Maine artists who will be on the virtual gallery shortly,
and eventually there will be opportunities to by stuff from there, AND from
the website in general...I have LOTS of ideas.
In the meantime, all comments are gratefully received, and I promise that
overtime, it will get better and better. For now just consider me a bit
byte challenged, but remember: I have sharp teeth, and intend to take
bigger bytes as time goes on.
Roger
