[V8] Trip computer problem

Hey, i though i give an update on this, though i got no replies yet..
;)
I noticed that the O2 codes disappeared after a couple clears, so i
suspect it had nothing to do with the trip computer problem after all.
So i checked the fuel consumption signal output from ecu harness, it
seemed good. Then i checked the speed signal input to the ecu and it
showed only 0,2 volts and didn't pulsate while driving. So maybe the
trip computer isn't getting the speed signal either, making it not
work. Though no problems with the speedo itself.
So i guess i should pull out the instrument panel and check the speed
signal outputs?
How hard of a task it is to pull out the ip?
Thanks for any help.
