[V8] O2 sensor circuit, rewire from Ecu?

Helps to have the manual, but its on the side of the transmission, drivers
side. its a pain to get to and do this but you can do it with an allen key
and screw driver. Basically, you disconnect the shifter linkage from the
Switch, then you place it in neutral, and loosen the bolts to the multi
switch. Then, you align the switch and the cable with a drill bit or pin,
and re-attatch. Its easier if you look at the swtich. The alignment hole
is about 4mm and is on the back of the switch facing reward. there is a
hole in the transmission so that when you put the pin through it lines it
all up. Then you re-tighten the bolts down, and check to see if the switch
and the shifter line up perfectly in neutral.
It is a lot of work and a major pain to do, I've done the switch before but
didn't know how to adjust it. It helps greatly if you have a 5mm
allen-socket for a 1/4in drive ratchet, and a lot of extensions (about 8in
worth). But, it will fix the problem. I'd use a 4mm drill bit for an
alignment too.
