The only gotcha here is that there are lots of bearings with the
correct dimensions, but are not rated for this service. That is why I
would go somewhere where they understand the application and can get
the correct rating. The variables include things like seal material
(or lack thereof), number of balls, temp ratings, continuous use
ratings, and on and on.
on a related topic, I found that the replacement timing belt idlers
that we all get are of lower quality than the OEM. I had one go bad,
and on inspection I found the replacement had fewer balls, and just
looked lighter overall.
