[V8] Any ideas regarding Front outer CV joints?

Also on that note, I was cleaning out the shed in preparation of  
demolition/building of the garage I've dreamed about for about 25  
years...., and found the torn boot/drivers axle from the 93 Pearl  
car.....Without wasting time digging thru part #'s. , as I recall the  
3.6 auto's had one set of axles...the 4.2's had a different set, the  
91 5-speeds yet a different set also.....Anyone know off the top of  
their heads if this is true/etc...Tom
