[V8] Engine swaps! OHHH, I'm breathing hard!!!!

In addition to swapping the engine, think about the transmission.
Your wife needs an automatic. Audi isn't known for making robust
automatic transmissions. Do you keep the V6 transmission? It may
not take the extra power. Swap it out for the V8 one (and its
control unit)? Lots of V8s died because of the transmission. Go
with an A8 V8 and transmission combo? I hear the 2002 and later
ones are better, but not perfect. Ka-Ching!
