[V8] Engine swaps! OHHH, I'm breathing hard!!!!

Actually, the V8 engine is not much heavier than most other engines we discuss replacing with it. It is about 10 lbs heavier than the 10VT that we wieghed, and that was without it's oil cooler. And, it seems the wight of the NG was also the same. I think the V6, especially in 2.8 30V may actually be heavier. Remember, most other engines (aside from the 3.0 and later engines) are cast iron blocks, as opposed to the V8's alluminum block.

As for the VR6, if you can get past the bellhousing issues, it might be fun. But, then, you don't get the torque of the V8..................
