I would think a pothole misalignment would be a consistent thing.
More than likely, something has come loose -- nut, bolt, or rubber
bushing deteriorated. I vote for bad subframe bushings. These are
old cars; if the bushings haven't been replaced (within the last
10 years), it's time.
