[V8] CC head lights out

Aside from checking the dimmer switch dial, are the cluster lights out also?  If so there are a few things it could be - bad light control unit, under the dash above the radio - but more commonly an almost unreachable bad solder joint inside the cluster itself.  Let us know either way.
