I have NEVER seen this before today out of all the TB's I have done on V8's. Whomever did the TB last time somehow sheared the keyway off of the inside of the timing belt gear. Unfortunately, as everyone knows the keyway is molded as part of the gear itself. There is a "very slight" bit of it left, but is almost sheared off flush. They then put some sort of glue/epoxy on it when they reassembled. I still do not understand how it made it 60K without jumping time.
Has anyone seen this before or is this a first?
Kyle

Kyle doesn't understand how it ever lasted 67,000 miles without jumping time. Anyhow does anybody have a motor sitting around that they would be willing to sell the timing gear or any other source for the gear?
