[V8] Something odd here

True.  It sounds like these Cabrio seats with the belt in the seat would be
a bear.  I'm very happy with my urS4/6 seats in a V8 and the Avant, with
another set soon to go in the other V8.
 
I just always thought those Cabrio seats were cool, but they do look a bit
ungainly and I wasn't aware of their size and affect on rear seat room.  I
guess I can stop worrying about finding a set of those and just find a nice
Cabrio, someday.  
 
Or I'll just wait until I can manage a newer S4 Cabrio.

God no.  Too new and too much of a different chassis most likely.

There are better options if you are going to go crazy with strange seat
fitments in a V8, anyway.  I'd say the first thing you'd need to do is get a
set of junker V8 seats and cut the seat off the rails/runners, so you can
weld the new seats onto that, and possibly keep all the motors to the v8 on
them.   That would be a project and a half...  But S4/S6 seats work just
fine, why re-invent the wheel.

Thanks, I had no clue WTF he was talking about, a link or auction # might be
helpful when soliciting comments about something you've seen on-line.
Those seats look like something off the Starship Enterprise, can't say
they're my cup O tea style wise, but they look very comfy (which is more
important than looks any day.)
