Yep, pre 96... something I can still spell, er... work on.

On the 91 Avant lately, I've replaced the voltage regulator due to a
no-charge condition, pulled the steering wheel and fixed a week signal to
the rear wiper with a spritz of De-Oxit real up close and personal like, and
today I removed the brake cooling ducts, the oil cooler air duct and some
radiator shrouding, and the front bumper, all to remove.... wait for it....
the windshield washer bottle!

I like them both, but for different reasons. I don't know that I could
choose between them, as they are so different. The A6 is definately much
sportier, while the A8 is much nicer, and has the advantage of about the
same weight, despite a larger chassis. And, it won't rust, other than the
bolts and whatnot, so it makes a great winter/salt car.

Either way, I still much prefer the pre 96 Audi's, and will stick with them
till I can't get parts anymore ;-)

Oh, and there are several guys on the Q list that have fixed the A8
transmissions for cheap. Mostly valve body and filter problems.
