[V8] Battery question

Odyssey is one brand I would never buy again.
Bought two, same day, for two vehicles. One battery dies a year later.
Odyssey declined to honor the warranty because I had bought it in another
state from where I now resided.
Yeah. There was much weaseling on that phone call - just nonsense. They
may indeed make a good product and I just had a rare lemon, but the
out-and-out refusal to honor a simple warranty well within the period, to
the original purchaser, and documented with my original sales receipt in
hand, was inexcusable.
For me, my last interstate went nine years, was cheaper than an Odyssey, and
has a 7-year pro-rated warranty and three-year 100% replacement, and
Firestone will honor the warranty.
