that is not a conversion.
That's a factory C4 S4, which was available in I5-20v turbo form (AAN 
engine code, 230 hp) and as V8 model, equipped with the ABH engine from 
the 4.2 V8. Introduced in 1992, it was the first Audi to be equipped 
with HP2 brakes. The V8 version was never sold in North America, though...

The wikipedia article on it

is just plain wrong. The "Plus" came years later, and was a completely 
different model.
