[V8] Coolant temp sensor

It's official.....I just went out and pulled the air cleaner off the  
Lago car, and there's no sensor  where the 5-speed's is(just that  
same hex plug).   Previous owner(the car's mechanic), said that at  
one point the timing belt broke(prematurely) while at the shop, and  
they replaced/reworked the heads for the owner  My guess is that they  
came either new in a box, or back from the machinest, and someone put  
the plug where the sensor "should" be.  Anyway, they both plug into  
the same harness/same color wires, so that IS my temp sensor.....and  
I will verify if there ever was a violet one and why, otherwise, I'm  
getting a white one........Adios Tom
