I'm sure its the seal between the plate and the head, all the seals were replaced during the swap accept those. I will try the parts numbers that were listed. I called 2 dealers here in the Denver area and they both said "no longer available"

I do have a good seal for the dizzy, the O ring but no head to plate seal. Can I just make one from gasket material or are they special material?

Chris

It may have been mentioned - but I'll say it anyway - maybe it will save some one time and money.  There are a total of 4 of the large diameter 'square' rings and 2 of the small diameter.  Two large on the distributors, one small on the pass side rear head under a 3 bolt cover.  The other three go between the front of the heads and rear of the timing covers.  If you don't have a leak there by now - you will.  In other words make sure and replace all of these gaskets and also cam, crank, and oil pump seals when you do your timing belt.  Hope this helps someone.  Jason
