transplants make great magazine articles, that's about all imo.  no 
financial sense .. Just buy a 928.

Has anyone attempted to look into this type of swap?

The doner would be a 1981 Porsche 928 with the 4.5l V8, engine Family ID BPR 
273 V5 FD2 CID 273.

Let me know your thoughts.
