there are a few different trans's one could use from different Audi's like,
87-88 5kq non turbo
88-89 100q
91 200 20vt
All have the correct gearing, or you could use a number of the O1E tranys from the "00" - cars

Major bummer.  We have 4.10s or 3.73s?  I thought it was the 4.10 or so ratio, but can't remember.

If someone was to use that trans you would have to change the rear riff as well since the 89 200's use 3:89 gearing.

Seriously, if anyone was interested in doing a transmission swap into their
V8, wouldn't this be about perfect to use?  And its free, in New England!
Aren't most of you crazies in New England?

If only I had those kind of plans left for my V8, and was local, I'd be all
over this.
