[V8] Two more questions... V8 Motor mounts, subframe retaining nuts?

Couple Quick questions all.
First, I had to drop the subframe to install the motor mounts on my V8
today, and noted that on the inside of the frame there are nuts holding it
in. Like, actual nuts you would buy at the hardware store, and they don't
appear to have been welded ever. There also looks like thier was a
rectangular piece of steel that had threads at one time, and I'm guessing it
no longer does. Anyone recognize this stuff? I think someone dicked around
with it before and I didn't notice the first time. And no, it wasn't me.
Secondly, UGH! Motor mounts. It should be easy, simple, painless.
This is literally the only thing on the car that is, right? Well, I got a
sharp set of 034 motor mounts and turns out the dimensions aren't the same
as ours, so long story short, 20 minutes the old ones are out, and 6 hours
later, the new ones are in, after dropping the subframe...
So, I shot an e-mail off to 034 about it, and I'm hoping to hear back from
them. I was curious to see if anyone would be interested in these at all
for their V8? They are only 68 bucks a pop, which is incredibly reasonable,
and they have good, quality construction. Just the fitment is off for the
I5--> V8 stuff. I am under the impression the I5 Motorsport spec ones fit
fine. Its the street units that I'm having issue with.
