[V8] Leaking Steering Rack - Switch to Mobil1 Synthetic ATF?

I've been running the Mobil DMT13 for +-4 years and have never had a problem.

The 92 is leaking at the power steering pump (at one of the "X" plugs) but I don't think that would have anything to with what fluid type you use

In my pearl car after I had HOH rebuilt the hoses (factory rack) I
witched to Syn ATF and ran it that way for just over a year until I
old her, the new owner is on MG and we chat every now and again - still
o leaks. :-) so a total of about 20mths in with no adverse effects.
