[V8] strut bearing possibly? need a hand diagnosing

I was going to suggest that bushing for the control arm. That would give the housing enough play if that bushing was bad. That's why I suggested the strut miunt. Cause if it was bad it would give the housing enough play to wander.
 The only thing is the noise I don't think corresponds with a bad inner control arm bushing...... but i've seen stranger things.

IIt sounds like a hollow metal knock.  

I did find that theinner lower control arm bushing (the one in the subframe) looks a little shredded. Hmmmm...
