[V8] Audi V8 Windshield

Let me start out by saying "what a pain in the __s".

I had a crack in my windshield so I decided to replace it before the new
owner took possession of the 5 speed. Any how, my insurance was covering the
replacement and the glass company that got the job had no idea what type of
car it was.
Needless to say, there were no more brand new windshields available from the
dealer, and the only molding left was in Canada.

Long story short, I got the glass replaced with an aftermarket unit made in
china and a black molding. I feel like i took a bit of character from my V8,
but I had no other option.

I no longer have a V8. I started the affair with one from new york and one
from Alameda, and now i have none. It will be sad to see it go, but
everything happens for a reason.

Any one else out there with a same situation?
